Of course, this past Sunday was Mother's Day and M. and I decided to invite both his family and mine over for brunch to celebrate. On the menu, french toast casserole, roasted potatoes, scrambled eggs with vegetables and fruit salad.
Beautiful Tulips
Some sparkling wine with orange juice to start...
French toast with frozen berries, cream cheese and topped with chopped pecans. I shared the recipe previously, here.
M. made the eggs with a Greek twist. It had spinach, red pepper and feta.
Roasted baby potatoes.
My plate with a side of fruit salad with fresh berries topped with my new favourite accessory...
My latest purchase from Oliv. I picked up a coconut white balsamic vinegar and it is AMAZING drizzled on fresh fruit or plain yogurt. If you love coconut, you should consider purchasing this $32 bottle. It's pricey but it is such a treat.
All the happy Mom's enjoying their brunch. My mom is at the bottom left, to her left is M.'s mom, across from her is my aunt and to her right is her Mom, my 91-year-old grand-mother.
What a great day. Hope all the mothers out there enjoyed their day!
