Good Morning!

I bet everyone is looking forward to the LONG WEEKEND!!! I certainly am. It won't all be relaxing but I will certainly have fun working on my home and trying out a new cooking contraption and recipe!

On Saturday, my friend A. and her husband will come over for pizza Saturdays and while her husband and M. go to a concert later that evening, A. and I will try and figure out how to work this thingymabob.

If you remember a previous post, I have been drooling (literally) over the Ample Hills Creamery book and I found it in McNally a few weeks ago. Now that I have the ice cream maker, the possibilities are endless. Since A. is vegan, the first recipe I will be trying is mango and mint sorbet from the recipe book provided by Kitchen Aid. I can't wait! I am going to get so fat this summer...

M. and I have decided to paint our living room and dining room on Sunday and as you can see, we have already starting some of the painting. It was our way to 'test' the colours out. Apparently it is a big no no according to some design magazines I have been reading, but really, how are you supposed to tell how light or dark this blue really is without taking a risk and painting half a wall?

We decided to do accent walls. Some walls will be blue but most of the walls will be grey.  We are pretty pumped!
